Your Local Support Team

A personal, community-based organization committed to improving independence and quality of life

MCCS Team - Our family supporting local families

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

We're your Lincoln neighborsโ€”part of the same community you call home. We live and work in surrounding areas and want to see our communities thrive. When you work with us, you're working with people who genuinely understand and care about local families.

Every child has different strengths. We design our support around what matters most to each familyโ€”building skills that fit the child's world, not ours. Through trauma-informed care and genuine partnership, families know their children best, and we support growth in ways that feel natural and celebrate who they are.

Real Skills for Real Life

Quality in-home and community skills training tailored to each child's unique needs

Section 28 services are covered by MaineCare for children under 21 who need help building life skills affected by developmental or behavioral challenges. These services focus on behavior support, social development, and learning age-appropriate skills that help children grow more independent.

Daily Living Skills

Children build confidence in everyday activitiesโ€”from getting dressed to preparing meals. Our BHPs make learning fun in a safe environment where children feel proud of their progress.

Social & Communication Skills

Children learn to express feelings, navigate friendships, and communicate in ways that work for them. We create safe spaces to practice and grow socially.

Community Integration

Real-world practice in community settings like shopping, library visits, and social activities. We help children gain confidence navigating everyday situations.

Safety & Self-Care

Teaching awareness of personal safety, recognizing safe situations and people, and developing essential self-care routines that build independence.

Individualized Support

We shape our support around each child's unique personality, interests, and goalsโ€”making sure they feel seen, heard, and understood. Family insights guide our approach.
